Labne cheese is creamy and flavourful with very little fat. It goes well as a spread, dip, as a base on bruschetta or even mixed into a Greek salad or dolloped onto grilled lamb.
Spiked with a little red wine for deep colour and flavour and with a helping of lemon zest, it is a more festive rendition of the popular dish.
Chanterelles, or Girolle, are a wonderful addition to grilled chicken or steak, but if you’re on a budget try them in these flavourful little dumplings. Delicious!
