(CLOSED) Royal Selangor {Get Your Jelly On} 30-day challenge for Pink Ribbon October

Only 1 day to go…

…until I lift the cloche on my first cone-shaped creation for the Royal Selangor 30-day Get Your Jelly On challenge… and before Wholesome Cook turns pink for Pink October!

About the {Get Your Jelly On} challenge

Did you know that, worldwide, breast cancer is the most common invasive cancer in women?

To help raise breast cancer awareness, each day during October I will showcase an exciting new way to use the Royal Selangor pewter jelly mould designed by Nick Munro for Royal Selangor. The great thing about this gorgeous mould is that all proceeds from the sale of the mould, which you can purchase here, are donated to the Breast Cancer Welfare Association! What a great initiative!

I am both thrilled and humbled to have been chosen as one of only 10 bloggers worldwide to participate in this challenge, it’s a great honour. There are some talented bloggers and high profile names taking part, including Billy Law Australia’s former MasterChef contestant who has become known as the Dessert Queen, so I feel very special.

While the challenge’s main aim is to raise breast cancer awareness, it is a competition and we are all, no doubt, very excited to see who will take the Grand Champion’s title and win a visit to Royal Selangor’s factory and workshop in Malaysia! Can’t wait to see the others’ posts.

Now, while I’ll be busy doing my bit for the challenge in the kitchen, here is how you can do yours:

Entries will be judged on creativity but I would love to hear some feedback from you too, so please come back during October and comment lots, on all the Get Your Jelly On posts. Each comment on any of the challenge’s actual blog posts will be your entry into an exciting Olympus VG-110 camera giveaway. Other giveaways are in the works too! Royal Selangor has also launchen an exciting Jellyriffic Competiition for their Malaysian customers.

Exciting month! Good luck to everyone! I cant wait to see all your beautiful creation! In the mean time, I have more jellies to make and my fridge is almost full of wobbly cone shaped monsters!

In this case it is the bowl you like to have your chips in, upside down on the plate, covering up my first jelly creation!

Very curious to see whats under that cloche. We can sort of see your reflection but no clues as to whats underneath. I guess there is only one way to find out!
