Chocolate Banana Smoothie with the Added Benefit of LSA

This is a great breakfast on the go or afternoon tea treat for kids. Budget tip: you can buy bananas when ripe, peel them, break up into bite-sized pieces and store in a zip-lock bag in the freezer.

  • 1 large ripe banana peeled
  • 1.5 cup milk of choice
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder or cacao
  • 1 tbsp LSA meal


  • Break banana into a large blending jug. Add milk, cocoa powder (and your choice of flax seeds or muesli). Blend with a hand blender. Pour into glasses and enjoy.
